Time to get to know another one of our ambassadors! Keep reading to learn about Maddux, a 12 year old dancer from California.
To begin, we asked Maddux what his "most memorable dance moment" was. He answered, "getting into final round at YAGP Florida finals and placing top 12." Maddux also won the "Youth American Grand Prix Award" at a regional competition, which is what he considers to be his greatest life accomplishment so far!
Although he's been very successful at competitions, Maddux says he actually prefers stage performances because he enjoys attending multiple rehearsals, dancing with big props and thinks they are less stressful.
When asked, "What makes you stand out from other dancers?," Maddux responded with, "I am a hard working male ballet dancer who has big dreams and goals!" We completely agree!
When Maddux gets older, he plans on being a principal ballet dancer in a company. After that, he would love to get married and have a family.
When he's not dancing, Maddux loves taking care of his plants and watching them grow, baking and listening to music from Billie Eilish or Olivia Rodrigo!
